
Alexis Lahorra is a multifaceted artist with a rich cultural background and an inspiring journey. At 30 years old, she is Filipina-Canadian, originally from Montreal, Quebec, born in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and now based in Catalonia, Spain.
Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, with basic Tagalog, Alexis seamlessly connects with diverse audiences through her work as a model, actress, and public speaker. Her talent and charisma have taken center stage as the Film Fest International Host for the Madrid International Film Festival (2022, 2023, 2024) and the Milan and Berlin Festival (2024).
As a TEDx speaker and passionate mental health advocate, Alexis has over five years of experience delivering impactful talks at schools, events, and on TV and radio interviews. Her dedication to raising awareness and driving positive change has earned her accolades, including the prestigious Terry Fox Humanitarian Award and over 20 other honors for her academic achievements and volunteer work in Canada.
Alexis holds a double major in Communications & Cultural Studies and Spanish from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada), along with a diploma in Communications: Arts, Media, and Theatre from Vanier College (Montreal, Canada).
She has further honed her craft through professional training at the Frank Stein Studio (Barcelona, Spain), studying under Mel Churcher in the "Elemental Actor" course, and doing a course at Central de Cine (Madrid, Spain).
